The tourist route known as the Piast Trail is the oldest route of this type in Poland. The Piast Trail is unique in terms of the number of interesting monuments accumulated along its course, the source of Polishness can be found among others: in Gniezno, Poznań and Ostrów Tumski, Kruszwica, Mogilno or Biskupin.
